Have you ever gotten a piece of business advice and immediately thought, "Yeah...that doesn't apply to me"?

Same.

Sometimes the advice we resist the most ends up being exactly what we needed to hear.

In this episode of Your Business Bestie, I'm sharing the business advice I ignored for WAY too long and what it ultimately cost me in time, money, growth, and freedom.

After years of building different businesses, I can look back and see the moments when someone gave me really good advice...and I convinced myself I could do things differently. Build the email list later. Say yes to the new opportunity. Keep everything in my head. Wait until I could "afford" to hire. Go all-in for a few weeks instead of building something consistently.

Spoiler alert: the advice wasn't wrong. I just wasn't ready to hear it.

We're talking about why you need to build your email list before you think you need one, how shiny object syndrome can make you feel productive without actually moving your business forward, and why documenting your systems BEFORE you build a team can create so much more freedom as you grow.

We'll also get into one of the hardest lessons I've had to learn: hiring sooner. If you're constantly turning down opportunities, spending hours doing tasks someone else could do in a fraction of the time, or realizing that YOU have become the bottleneck in your business, it may be time to stop waiting for things to slow down.

And finally, we're talking about the advice that applies to almost everything in business:

Consistency beats intensity.

One imperfect thing done consistently will almost always outperform something incredible you only do occasionally. Whether it's email marketing, social media, going live, or another strategy you're testing, you have to give it enough time to compound before deciding it doesn't work.

So here's the question I want you to think about while you listen:
