Despite this hostile climate, and the potential threats they face, educators persist with bringing the important, critical questions about this nation to the classroom for discussion. In some ways, it’s a shame this milestone happens at a time of year when classrooms are shuttered, and students are left to navigate a chaotic realm of public discourse that will surely be filled with too much misinformation, hate, and propaganda.
