C/COBCTC's Dorsey Hager on Data Centers, Honda and Ohio's Gas Tax

C/COBCTC Executive Secretary-Treasurer Dorsey Hager joins from the Yotta data center conference in Las Vegas to discuss the AI data center boom and the Columbus building trades’ trajectory from 4 million work hours a decade ago to a projected 20 million this year, reports of a possible new Honda plant in Union County and the ongoing partnership through project labor agreements, Columbus’s projected population doubling by 2050 and infrastructure investment needs and the Ohio gas tax suspension which Governor DeWine estimates would remove approximately $750 million from the state transportation budget.
