Episode 1089: Arnie Arnesen Attitude October 15 2026
Part 1:We talk with Brian Porto, Professor Emeritus, Vermont Law and Graduate School. We discuss the histories of Vermont and New Hampshire, since they are adjoining neighbors (twins) with very different government structures and outlooks. How did this come about?Part 2:We talk with Wendell Young, President of United Food and Commercial Workers 1776, and with Hannah Wolf, Senior Staff Attorney for Farm STAND.We discuss the disparity of how workers in the food industry (including farm and food processors) are being treated when compared to others covered by the NLRB. Their rights are circumscribed, so that they are treated as second-class workers, and do not have many of the rights of other workers. We focus specifically on Pennsylvania workers although similar workers are affected in other states. WNHNFM.ORG production
