NBA SuperCoach 2026/27: GUARDS TIER LIST 📈 Luka, SGA, Maxey, LaMelo & Who to Fade

Braino and the Horse rank the 18 most relevant point guards and shooting guards in NBA SuperCoach for the 2026-27 season, sorting every guard into must start, good value, buy later, get what you pay for, risky pick and fade, because guards are the most volatile position in the game and picking the right ones can be the difference between winning and losing your league.

Luka Doncic is the only must start guard on our list, while Tyrese Haliburton, Kyrie Irving, LaMelo Ball and Brandon Miller headline the value picks for players coming back from injury or stepping into bigger roles. We explain why Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Trae Young, Josh Giddey, Cade Cunningham and Austin Reaves are buy later options, why Tyrese Maxey is our risky pick with Philly the only team on a four game week in round one, and why Jalen Brunson, Steph Curry and VJ Edgecombe are the guards we're fading hardest. We also cover Dylan Harper, Anthony Edwards, Jaylen Brown and the Coby White injury news.
