Claims Shannon Can Benefit In Short Term As Dublin Airport Cap Upheld By European Court

It's claimed Shannon Airport could benefit in the short term after Europe's top court upheld the Dublin Airport passenger cap. The EU Court of Justice's ruling means some airlines could lose flight slots they previously held at Dublin. It does, however, allow for the Government to remove the cap in the future. Chair of the Shannon Airport Oireachtas Group, Meelick Fianna Fáíl TD, Cathal Crowe, says the ruling presents great opportunities for Shannon in 2027.
