Come Follow Me for Teens: "He Hath Borne Our Griefs, and Carried Our Sorrows" (Isaiah 58-66)
This week on Come Follow Me for Teens, we study Isaiah 58–66 and the theme “The Redeemer Shall Come to Zion.” Isaiah describes the Savior’s mission to bind up the brokenhearted, free captives, comfort those who mourn, and give “beauty for ashes.”
We also explore why fasting is about far more than going without food, including Isaiah’s promises of light, healing, guidance, answered prayer, and breaking spiritual yokes. Then we look at the Savior’s teaching that “the sabbath was made for man” and how that can change Sunday from a list of restrictions into a weekly gift designed to reconnect us with God.
At the center of all three principles is one truth: the practices are not the power. The Savior is.
