Nebraska vs. North Dakota || Week 3

Monday Night Therapy featured Minnie Hunt and Corn Nation writer Aaron Rastovski discussing Nebraska’s dominant 56-7 victory over Bowling Green and looking ahead to North Dakota. The Huskers produced 546 total yards while holding Bowling Green to just 169, providing one of the most complete performances Nebraska has shown in recent years. The hosts were particularly impressed with quarterback Anthony Colandrea, praising his ability to make quick reads, fire accurate passes into tight windows, throw deep, and contribute as a runner. They also highlighted the depth at wide receiver, with Jacory Barney and Kwazi Gilmer each catching two touchdown passes. Nyziah Hunter has yet to become heavily involved, but the hosts believe having three dangerous receivers will eventually create major problems for opposing defenses.

Nebraska’s running back room also received considerable praise. Freshman Jamal Rule impressed with his balance, vision, physicality, and ability to make plays, while the overall depth gives Dana Holgorsen plenty of offensive options. The improved offensive line and tight-end blocking were also noted.

Defensively, Nebraska has been dominant but must improve against zone-read concepts. North Dakota presents a tougher challenge, featuring an experienced quarterback and offensive line. The hosts expect Nebraska to win comfortably but believe North Dakota will provide valuable preparation for Big Ten play.
