Shane Gillis drops an F Bomb on Saturday Night Live

Johnny Mac recaps Shane Gillis’ SNL appearance, including an on-air F-bomb, Mikey Day’s joke about it, and Gillis’ goodnights apology, while noting social media criticism of Gillis’ monologue about the gym, “gym gays,” women’s workout clothes, and a “gay or Hitler” hairline bit. He pivots to news that the Pentagon plans to livestream the execution of the Fort Hood mass shooter, then plays a profane George Carlin clip about televising capital punishment. The show covers CBS’s Comics Unleashed beating The Tonight Show in total viewers and the 18–49 demo, mentions Roy Wood Jr.’s Threads videos on royalties, and reports on Nikki Glaser’s Gator Growl set. Other items include a plug for the LINNET browser podcast studio beta, Roseanne Barr’s completed series Me-Maw, Jimmy Fallon’s MLB-themed baby books, Colin Jost’s series Six Bed One Bath, and Punkie Johnson’s special Long Titty, Short Story debuting Oct. 21 on Kevin Hart’s channel.
