The Tampa Bay Lightning avoided elimination as they beat the Montreal Canadiens 1-0 in overtime in Game 6. Gage Goncalves scored in extra time to become just the 3rd Lightning player with an OT winner in an elimination game. Andrei Vasilevskiy made 30 saves for his 8th career postseason shutout. The Lightning host the Canadiens on Sunday at 6pm ET for Game 7 in this first round playoff series.
