In this episode of the **222 Paranormal Podcast**, Jennifer and Joe Shortridge take a deep dive into one of the most disturbing alleged hauntings in modern paranormal history—the story of the Ammons family and the small Gary, Indiana, home that would eventually become known around the world as the Demon House.

The story reportedly began in 2011 after the Ammons family moved into the house. What initially appeared to be an ordinary family home allegedly became the center of bizarre and frightening experiences. The family reported strange noises, unexplained footsteps, shadowy figures, swarms of flies appearing during the winter, and other disturbing activity.

But the story became even more unbelievable when the family's children reportedly began experiencing frightening and unusual behavior.

Police were called.

Medical professionals became involved.
