When Your Faith Is Still About You

Asahel Nettleton prayed through the night, studied Scripture, and desperately sought salvation—but eventually realized that even his religious efforts were driven by selfish motives. His story confronts pride, genuine repentance, spiritual self-deception, and the difference between fearing sin's consequences and truly hating sin because it is against God. For any man questioning whether his faith is truly centered on Christ, Nettleton's journey offers a sobering challenge and a powerful picture of grace.
