the one-word chorus epidemic: real music or just lazy?

After seeing some criticism about a specific KPOP group's music, I realized that recently, there had been an increase in choruses with ONE WORD. At first glance, it was kinda fun, but as more and more songs come out following the same formula, does this even count as art anymore? Or is it just a baseless attempt at fame and money? TEAAA!!
