➡️ Victor Ferrari, MD, talks about what it takes to still be going strong after 25 successful years in solo practice.

Hello, and welcome to "Beauty and the Biz," where we'll discuss the business and marketing side of plastic surgery.

As always, I'm your host, Catherine Maley, author of "Your Aesthetic Practice – What Your Patients Are Saying." and consultant to plastic surgeons, helping them get more patients and more profits.

25 Years in Solo Practice and Still Going Strong — Dr. Victor Ferrari shares the simple systems that helped him build a steady, reputable cosmetic practice. Specifically, Dr. Victor Ferrari is a board-certified plastic surgeon. Additionally, he is the founder of Premier Plastic Surgery Center and Premier Spa in Charlotte, North Carolina. Furthermore, he has been in private practice for more than 25 years. Consequently, he has a strong reputation in his community.

Currently, in this week's "Beauty and the Biz" podcast, Dr. Ferrari shares his secrets. Explicitly, he explains what it really takes to build a long-standing solo cosmetic practice. Importantly, he did this without chasing every shiny object.

Interestingly, he would also be open to bringing in an associate surgeon. Ultimately, this would keep his surgical OR busy. Moreover, it would expand capacity and create more long-term leverage.

Notably, what stood out to me was his intentional focus on the fundamentals:

First, he chose a location across from a hospital to give patients confidence.

Next, he built a facility designed for growth that includes room for another surgeon.
