#262 - "I'm tired of Loosing my Hunting Buddies"

<p>A comment on one of my recent podcasts stopped me in my tracks.</p><p>I asked hunters what they were tired of seeing in the hunting industry. I expected answers about social media, hunting pressure, expensive gear, influencers, leasing ground, and all the other things we tend to complain about.</p><p>Then an older hunter simply said:</p><p>“I’m tired of losing my hunting buddies.”</p><p>That one hit differently.</p><p>We spend so much time worrying about killing bigger bucks, finding better spots, buying better gear, and becoming better hunters that sometimes we forget what actually makes hunting special.</p><p>The people.</p><p>Someday, you may look back and realize the hunts you miss the most aren&#39;t the ones where you killed the biggest deer.
