Recapping Maryland, Perspective on UCLA So Far
In this edition of the BROCast, Dave and Tracy recap the hilarious Maryland win, give some perspective on where UCLA football is and how it projects this season, talk about Bob Chesney's impact, and then push for fans to get to the Rose Bowl for the remaining home games.
We talked about the 54-3 beatdown of Maryland, and how even that game left a bit of meat on the bone. We especially highlighted linebacker player, not only in that game but through the season so far, and how that's been the best part of the defense.
We then talked about the broader perspective of where UCLA is now -- 4-0 and ranked in the top 25 -- and what we can project for the remainder of the season. The schedule, in some ways, has softened a bit from what we already thought was a manageable schedule preseason.
We discussed Bob Chesney's impact, and how his approach to Dante Moore's injury contrasted so starkly with how Lincoln Riley and USC behaved on Saturday. We also talked about USC, because talking about USC right now is very funny.
