Lataryn Rainey-Perry is a writer, publisher, and creative visionary based in Charleston, SC, and the founder of Penwork Publishing LLC — a women owned and veteran-owned creative studio helping storytellers bring their ideas to life. She's also been my friend for years and we've had many years of networking brunches, magazine covers, and a five-year gap where we didn't speak at all.
