First: Greg Parker's team fires off a 38-page response in the Beach case that mentions Mandy 27 times — complete with bitchy footnotes, italicized accusations of "targeted advocacy," and [sic]s for the crime of typing "yall" — proving once again that in South Carolina, the system punishes the people who call it out. 

Then, disturbing developments in the Mica Francis Miller story: an anonymous Facebook page pushing JP's "proof," Mica's mother appealing the probate court's estate ruling, and the police reports Horry County ignored while Mica begged for help.

Finally, Beth introduces her new podcast, Time of Death, investigating the case of Gary Wayne Sutton — a Tennessee man facing a December 3 execution even though the state stipulated it has no eyewitnesses, no confession, and no physical evidence tying him to the crime.
