That's just a sneak peak in what we get into in today's episode with David Boatright. David is a regenerative farmer supplying everything from beef, pork, chicken, goat, and even pasture raised eggs all over the nation, and in today's interview we sit down and discuss the major meat companies that control even the smaller brands like Pasture Bird and other grass-fed, pasture raised labeled meat. We also talk about the lone star tick invasion and if you should be worried, lab grown meat, the difference between organic vs pasture raised vs grass-fed - because they all aren't the same and it can be very confusing when reading a label with all these terms. In fact, grass fed beef doesn't mean the cow ever saw the light of day! They can be in a feedlot eating grass confined in a barn! And don't even get me started on our chicken and egg conversation! But I will tell you, we talk about a way you can check if the eggs you have are healthy or not by the way the shell and egg white look.....plus, did you know they are gassing our meat to obtain a bright red color?
