The road trip didn’t get any better for the Texas Rangers against the A’s, who won two of the three weekend games and sent the Rangers to a 2-5 West Coast swing. The offense didn’t produce, and the Rangers have rotation questions because of injuries to Nathan Eovaldi and Jacob deGrom. As bad as things seem, the Rangers are only a half-game behind the Orioles for the final wild-card spot into the American League playoffs. Some good happened on the road trip, including Corey Seager showing some signs of life at the plate. The Rangers have 37 games to go, beginning Tuesday at home against the Nationals.
