Paul tells Timothy to stay in Ephesus and confront false teaching, urging him to guide people toward sound doctrine rooted in the true gospel of Jesus. Matt shows how Paul’s words to Timothy speak directly into the challenges we face in our own time.</p><p>1 Timothy 1:3-4 &quot;As I urged you when I went into Macedonia, stay there in Ephesus so that you may command certain people not to teach false doctrines any longer or to devote themselves to myths and endless genealogies.
