Nigel Havers on auditioning for James Bond, I’m a Celebrity exit and winding up Judi Dench

Award-winning presenter and queen of morning television, Lorraine Kelly discovers life lessons from living legends.

For more than fifty years, Nigel Havers has been a familiar face on our screens, from his BAFTA-nominated performance in Chariots of Fire to roles in A Passage to India, Empire of the Sun and The Whistle Blower. He’s charmed audiences in Don’t Wait Up, The Charmer and Coronation Street, brought mischief to London’s West End in panto, and shared a sofa with his good friend Julian Clary on Celebrity Gogglebox. Now, he’s taking his stories on the road with a new one-man show.

On this episode of Experience is Everything, Nigel joins Lorraine Kelly for a funny and heartfelt conversation about a life filled with memorable roles, missed opportunities and personal loss. He opens up about losing his wife and finding a way forward, reveals his greatest acting regret, and explains why he had to leave I’m a Celebrity. Plus, there’s the small matter of what he did to make Judi Dench stop talking to him…
