S2 E15 How to End a Creative Project? It’s Personal
Howdy Listener,
To paraphrase Frank Sinatra, “And so the time has come…🎶 …I’ll do it my way”
Yes, this is an I Dibs The Front episode, you know, where I talk to you from my car as I’m driving to or from town? (100% legally I might add - start recording a voice memo before you even turn the car on and don’t touch your phone until the engine is shut off at your destination - edit accordingly)
But also, this week's episode is a little different… it’s my final podcast episode. And that’s 99.9999% a 100% true statement (never say never).
In this episode I’m reflecting on a significant birthday, my sister Pippa's life, and a couple of books that have caused me some deep thinking. Before you ask, yes, my brain is sore.
Questions that I’ve maybe, kinda’ sort of figured out:
What are the lessons I've learned from all of my conversations about creativity?
How do I want to fill up my big, beautiful life?
Now that I’m ready to free up some time, what might my next “hobby” be?
This “ending” is about recognising when one creative season has done its job and having the courage to let another one begin.
Thank you for coming along for the ride, beep beep.
