A Real American Success Story

In the early 1990s a group of leaders at Marlboro Jewish Center did something amazing. They sponsored a refugee family fleeing the Soviet Union, looking for a better life for their family where they could express their Judaism freely. Marina and Leonid Popivker brought their two boys, Alec and Eric, and a few belongings to start a new life in Marlboro, New Jersey. Their story is inspirational.
