Owning Enterprise AI: Oumi’s Manos Koukoumidis

In this episode, we speak with Manos Koukoumidis, Co-Founder and CEO of Oumi, an open AI platform helping enterprises build specialized models they can own and control. Oumi is designed for organizations that want to move beyond renting generic foundation models, giving teams a way to evaluate model performance, create training data, train specialized models, and continue improving them around their own business needs.

Before founding Oumi, Manos led major generative AI efforts at Google Cloud, including the work that became PaLM and later Gemini. His background also includes roles at Meta and Microsoft, along with research experience at Princeton and MIT.
