Genes to play role in earlier cerebral palsy diagnosis

A gene study provides further evidence that cerebral palsy may be a collection of symptoms, not a disease.

It also indicates doing a genetic panel early on could help confirm diagnosis and provide an opportunity for better treatment of affected children.
