NBC Cut Away From Soundgarden, AC/DC Cancel Toronto, AEW Mourns Andy

Soundgarden reunited at halftime of the Seahawks–Patriots game at Lumen Field with Taylor Momsen on vocals and Pearl Jam's Mike McCready on guitar, playing a medley including "Outshined" and "Spoonman" — and NBC aired little to none of it, sending fans straight to social media. Their final album featuring Chris Cornell's last recordings is currently in post-production.

Also on this episode: AC/DC's September 16 show at Toronto's Rogers Stadium has been cancelled outright after a storm the venue's own meteorologist called a hundred-year event, with damaged sections needing to be removed and rebuilt before next summer. And AEW paid a tearful tribute to Andy Williams on Dynamite, with announcer Excalibur quoting Every Time I Die lyrics on air, a ten-bell salute, a full tribute planned for Saturday's Collision, and a public celebration of his life announced for September 27 in Buffalo.
