I’m Letting God Back In: The Psychology and Mystery of Faith

What happens when life tests your faith…and somehow you find yourself coming back to God anyway?

In this deeply personal episode, I’m talking about what it has looked like to allow God back into my life after a year that challenged me, changed me, and made me question things I thought I understood.

This isn’t a story about suddenly having Christianity, or life, all figured out. It’s about learning how faith, doubt, psychology, surrender, prayer, and uncertainty can exist in the same room.

We explore the psychology behind our human desire for certainty and control, why surrender can feel so uncomfortable, and why faith asks us to keep walking even when we cannot see exactly where the road is leading.

I also reflect on my evolving relationship with prayer, the difference between manifestation and trusting God, and why I no longer want a faith that only works when life is going according to plan.

Because maybe faith isn't about saying, “God, I'll believe in You if You give me the life I want.”

Maybe it's learning to say:

“God, I want to know You even when I don't understand my life.”

In this episode, we talk about:

✝️ Returning to God after a difficult season

🧠 The psychology of faith, uncertainty, and belief

🙏 Why prayer can be both spiritual and psychologically meaningful

🤍 Trusting God when life doesn't make sense

🌊 The difference between surrender and giving up

💭 Whether doubt can coexist with Christian faith

✨ Moving from manifestation toward prayer and relationship with God

📖 What the Bible teaches about questioning, suffering, and uncertainty

🧠 Why the human brain craves predictability and control

🌱 Finding meaning in seasons that didn't go according to plan

✝️ Building a relationship with God without pretending to have all the answers

If you're reconnecting with Christianity, rebuilding your relationship with God, questioning your faith, learning how to pray again, or trying to trust God during an uncertain season, this episode is for you.

You don't have to have every answer before you walk through the door.

Sometimes faith begins with something much simpler:

“God, I'm listening again.”

Hebrews 11:1 — Faith and what we cannot see
Mark 9:24 — “I believe; help my unbelief.”
Matthew 27:46 — Jesus' cry from the cross

Christian podcast, Christian woman podcast, returning to God, finding God again, rebuilding faith, relationship with God, psychology of faith, psychology and Christianity, trusting God, trusting God's plan, Christian doubt, faith and doubt, how to reconnect with God, surrendering to God, prayer and psychology, manifestation vs prayer, Christian spirituality, finding faith again, faith during hard times, God and mental health, Christian personal growth, spiritual growth, letting God into your life, finding God in difficult seasons, how to trust God when life doesn't make sense
