Connecting People With Disabilities to Opportunity

In this episode, I talk with Travis Kline of Job Squad about helping people with disabilities connect with employment, transportation, benefits, and other services. We discuss the disability services fair and why communication matters when bringing organizations and the community together. Travis explains how Job Squad helps people find jobs and training while also operating mail processing and fulfillment programs for the State of West Virginia. We also talk about challenges businesses face, including rising costs, employment issues, and transportation barriers. When the conversation turns to leadership, Travis focuses on listening, fixing processes instead of blaming people, and hiring people with compassion and strong customer service skills.
