WWYD: my parents like my sister’s partner more than mine

QUESTION #1: My parents won’t stop making comments about if & when I break up with my partner. They seem to prefer my sister’s boyfriend even though my partner & I have been together longer. It’s making my partner anxious. How do I talk to my parents about this and set boundaries?

QUESTION #2: My best friend is keeping big life events a secret from me. She’s bought houses and sold houses and bought a new car and hasn’t told me until it’s all completely finalised. Am I overreacting? Do I feel entitled to her news when I shouldn’t be?
