Located in southwestern Vermont’s Green Mountain National Forest, this 3,700-foot landmark is nestled in the center of a mysterious region that has come to be known as The Bennington Triangle. Within the bounds of the Bennington Triangle, ghostly apparitions appear in the thick fog, whispering warnings to hikers who dare brave the paths leading to the mountain’s peak; dark triangular UFOs hover over the streams that snake their way down the granite rocks before disappearing into darkened thickets; and from 1945 to 1950, 5 people vanished into what some speculate is an interdimensional portal, never to be seen or heard from again.
