Week 1 is finally here for the Miami Dolphins.

After an offseason of massive roster turnover, a new coaching staff, a new starting quarterback and one of the youngest rosters in the NFL, Jeff Hafley’s Dolphins are preparing for their first real test against the Las Vegas Raiders.

Jim “GRIES” Grieshaber is joined by Kyle Crabbs, former Miami Dolphins defensive lineman Jeff Zgonina, and Wes Goldberg to break down the biggest storylines heading into the season opener.

Miami has selected its 2026 captains, with Malik Willis, De’Von Achane, Aaron Brewer, Patrick Paul, Zach Sieler and Jordyn Brooks chosen to lead the team. Willis enters Week 1 not only as Miami’s new QB1, but as a captain voted in by his teammates — a strong sign of how quickly he has earned trust inside the Dolphins locker room.
