This week, Laura and Holly are joined by Gemma Murphy from Jack Murphy Jewellers for a brilliant chat about family, business, jewellery and everything in between!

Gemma gives us the inside story of Jack Murphy Jewellers, from her dad being in the jewellery trade for nearly 80 years and the family business celebrating 55 years, to becoming the youngest of four and eventually taking the business on herself.

We chat about the challenges of taking over during the recession, Gemma’s original plan to sell the business once things recovered, and how she ended up completely falling in love with it instead. From influencer marketing and changing jewellery trends to the complexity of gold prices, welded bracelets and the huge plans ahead for Jack Murphy Jewellers, there is so much to get into.
