Why Millions of Books Travel Free Through the Mail

For over 90 years, USPS and the Library of Congress’ National Library Service for the Blind and Print Disabled (NLS) have partnered to deliver free, accessible reading materials, tactile books, and specialized playback equipment to Americans with print disabilities.
