The Driver (1978) with Antonio Palacios

On this episode of the podcast Phillip is joined by Antonio Palacios from The Cultworthy Podcast and Back 2 the Balcony Podcast to discuss the Walter Hill directed classic The Driver. Phillip starts the episode by reading off the general information about the movie with some trivia sprinkled in. It's then time for Listener' Opinions from Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook. The two then discuss the movie, and boy is it a fun conversation. They then answer the question of whether they noticed anything from this movie that Tarantino might have liked or used in a film. Then they individually rate the movie. Then they answer the question of whether they would buy this movie, rent it, or find it for free. Phillip then gives his Phil's Film Favorite of the Week; Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb (1964). Antonio then recommends some movies as well; Near Dark (1987), Judas Kiss (1998), Who's Cletus Tout? (2001), and The Girl Most Likely To... (1973). It's then time for Phillip to promote next week's episode when he will be joined once again by Sam Panico to discuss Devil Woman (1970). Thanks for listening.
