"Who's In Charge?" Katie Wilson Can't Explain Seattle's Deadly Weekend

Seattle's weekend looked more like a war zone than a World Cup showcase. A gas station clerk was shot and killed near the Space Needle, a woman was shot at a strip club in South Seattle, a car was set on fire, and machete attacks sent multiple people to the hospital — all while Mayor Katie Wilson was prepping talking points about how things are getting better.

A new Seattle Metro Chamber Index poll found 75% of Seattle voters have zero confidence in the city's plan to improve public safety, and 39% rank crime and drugs as their top concern. City Hall's big response to the carnage? A $1.4 million pilot program for ten high-tech modular public restrooms. Sean has some questions about that.

What happened to the mayor who was supposed to restore order after the defund-the-police era? The Bite of Seattle mass shooter is still at large. Belltown still has an open-air drug market at Second Avenue and Bell. And someone at City Hall apparently believes better bathrooms will fix it all.

If you're tired of officials telling you crime is down while your neighborhood burns, subscribe to @reasonablenews for daily Pacific Northwest news that doesn't spin the reality on the ground.

#NFRP #Seattle #KatieWilson

GO PREMIUM WITH REASONABLE+ FOR UNCENSORED ACCESS 🌟
https://ReasonableTV.com/

🛍️ MERCH - https://Store.ReasonableTV.com/

💬 JOIN our FREE Discord Community!
