Hidden History, Ancient Nuclear War & Ancestors with Joaquin Escobar — Part 4 of 6 | Classics Rotation

Asked who "they" are, Joaquin Escobar lays out his belief that much of history mixes truth with lies, behind which he sees a spiritual war between good and bad entities who, he says, experience time differently than we do. With detours into realms, dinosaurs, fossils, amber and the idea of an ancient nuclear war, this part is for listeners who enjoy alternative history and big-picture speculation.

Joaquin says deception works by mixing truth with lies, cites Ben Davidson's point about karmic responsibility, says he does not believe in evolution, and argues that history and even architecture have been shaped to steer the zeitgeist, mentioning the Tartaria theory and claimed Smithsonian cover-ups of giants. He links the spiritual battle to his own meditation experiences, including at the Lake Shrine temple in Los Angeles associated with Yogananda, and to remote viewing. The host jokes that Joaquin burps when something is true, and he agrees that realms and interdimensional beings are real, referring to the host's unicorn story. They discuss extinct animals and how rarely fossils form, and the host explains that amber is fossilized resin from wounded trees, which she connects to her theory of an old nuclear war. Joaquin points to Hindu texts, nuclear-type glass he says was used in pharaohs' jewelry, and the Oppenheimer film, which was new at the time of the original recording. He argues that knowing your ancestors and their lessons is something modern Western culture has scrubbed, invoking Graham Hancock's idea of a shared shamanic tradition. The host says her 23andMe results, from a kit she says she got free at a TED talk more than 15 years ago, keep changing, and the two discuss how much genetic ancestry can really reveal.
