Ep. 12: Deon Tedder on Bringing the Law to the Legislature

<p>For the second part of our shoot in the U.S. capital, Off the Floor was visited by Senator Deon Tedder of South Carolina. Having gone from navigating the law as an attorney to writing it in the state government, Deon works to make sure his colleagues from both sides of the aisle understand the communities that will be impacted by the bills they pass. We also got to discuss his time working for Ted Kennedy, thoughts on the rise of AI, and the struggle of making politics a solo career when his state's politicians are the lowest-paid in the country.</p>
