The Six Shooter - "Revenge at Harness Creek" (1954)

The Six Shooter presents “Revenge at Harness Creek,” episode 31, originally broadcast on NBC on April 29, 1954. James Stewart stars as drifting plainsman Britt Ponset in this Frank Burt script, directed by Jack Johnstone.

When a killing shakes the frontier town of Harness Creek, Sheriff Cash Harcourt is determined to bring the alleged shooter, Adam Roby, to justice. With fear that grief and anger may deny Roby a fair hearing, Britt Ponset is asked to help see the accused safely into legal custody. Virginia Gregg, Eleanor Audley, Lamont Johnson, Forrest Lewis, and Bert Holland are featured.

Old Time Western Radio presents the original broadcast with a newly produced contextual introduction, a short closing announcement, and gently cleaned/mastered audio for a more consistent listening experience.
