Hope Review

Director Na Hong-Jin (“The Wailing,” “The Chaser”) is back! His new film, “Hope,” premieres in theaters around the US this week, and it is one of the wildest films of 2026. High-speed car chases, massive firefights, irreverent comedy, and monster movie scares all combine in this one-of-a-kind feature, but do they all work together?

In our Hope Review, we take off the guardrails and go deep into what makes this movie work and what works against it. So, beware of spoilers if you haven’t seen the film. And if you have seen Hope, please be sure to drop your thoughts in the comments.
