First, the team’s attempt to restore Angel’s soul goes horribly wrong. Who could have possibly foreseen? By the time everyone is clued in, however, it’s too late for one of them.

Then, Wesley seeks assistance from an old frenemy. Once she’s on site, they’re all five-by-five. But Angelus is eager to tangle with a slayer again, and he issues a personal invitation she can’t refuse. Oh, he also kills the Beast. No biggie.
