E20 | The Radio Maria Book Club – John Bradburn: The Vagabond of God – Caroline Busher and Fr Peter

Caroline Busher is joined by Fr Peter to discuss John Bradburn: The Vagabond of God, the story of a remarkable 20th-century Anglican who survived the Second World War, moved between different monastic communities and eventually cared for people with leprosy in Rhodesia. Known for an extraordinary volume of poetry, Bradburn remained with his community during the Rhodesian Bush War rather than abandon those in his care, a decision that ultimately cost him his life. The conversation explores a life of wandering, service and sacrifice, and why Zimbabwean Catholics now regard Bradburn as a possible future saint.
