3 - Adonai - The God Who Has the Right to Lead

Isaiah sees Adonai high and lifted up, and the encounter changes the way he sees everything—including himself. God’s holiness exposes Isaiah’s sin, God’s grace removes his guilt, and then the King invites him to participate in His purposes.

Calling Jesus Lord is more than giving Him a religious title. Jesus is King whether we acknowledge Him or not. Our confession does not enthrone Him—it dethrones us. Following Jesus means surrendering our presumed right to decide what is true, what is right, and where the boundaries belong.
