Dagan Van Oosten is a former Marine Recon Scout Sniper, combat veteran, and CIA operator whose career took him from the battlefields of Iraq to the shadowed world of intelligence operations. Raised in rural Illinois, Dagan spent more than two decades pursuing purpose through military and intelligence service, eventually realizing that becoming a warrior had come at a tremendous personal cost.

Today, Dagan is an entrepreneur, author, and co-owner of Nomadic Research. Through his work, his podcast, and his upcoming memoir, he shares the lessons learned from war, leadership, sacrifice, identity, and the difficult journey of finding his way home.

His story is ultimately one of resetting after losing yourself—and having the courage to rise again.
