Thrill Glider Coaster Drops 2027 | San Jose News
Six Flags Magic Mountain is unleashing a wild new coaster in 2027 called the Thrill Glider — the world’s first hybrid ride blending flying, motorbike, and suspended coaster elements. Riders straddle a hovercycle in a prone position, soaring over rough terrain at 50 mph across 3,300 feet of track with 12 airtime moments and 20 unique elements. Featuring onboard audio, lighting, and five inversions, it’s tailored for teens and young adults between Ninja and Tatsu. Built by Dutch firm Vekoma, it’ll debut on land once occupied by Superman: Escape from Krypton — and though it won’t break overall park records (still held by Goliath), it’ll set a new global standard for its genre. Construction is already underway, with the opening pushed to 2027. The park’s also offering a 2027 season pass deal that includes Knott’s Berry Farm and free parking — perfect for double-duty thrill-seekers.
