随着人工智能竞赛升温，数据中心正成为美国加紧布局的关键基础设施。

中国则推进“东数西算”等工程，欧洲、中东和东南亚等地也因应自身的需求和条件，开展各具特色的数据中心布局。

新加坡刚在10月7日通过《数码基础设施法案》，不设数据中心容量上限，而是有选择地发展，将有限的土地 、电力和水资源用于高价值的数码基础设施。
