Everything is 100% Cake! (It Actually Sizzles)

I needed this mango baby food yolk to hold its shape like a real one, and then burst the second a knife touches it. It took nineteen attempts.

Everything in this pan is edible: the trivet, the cast iron, the egg white, the runny yolk, and the butter that sizzles without any heat at all.

WHAT'S IN THE PAN: • Granite trivet: crushed Nilla Wafers and Teddy Grahams bound in white chocolate • Cast iron skillet: black chocolate, cast from a mold of my real pan • Egg white: gelatin emulsified with melted white chocolate • Sizzling butter: baking soda, citric acid, corn syrup and yellow food coloring • Runny yolk: mango baby food frozen solid and dipped in gelatin

Nothing on this plate is hot. Nothing on this plate is an egg.
