Hey Slaycaters, get ready for a case that once again uncovers the dark underbelly of a tropical resort town. In 2017, Desiree Gibbon (26), a beautiful and talented aspiring model from NYC, traveled to Montego Bay, Jamaica, for a relaxing Thanksgiving vacation at her family’s resort. However, instead of finding fun in the sun, Desiree was found brutally murdered just four miles away. As if the crime weren't horrific enough, the investigation quickly became a case study in what not to do, with critical evidence overlooked and a strained, contentious relationship building between investigators and her family.
