For the Love of Patriarchy

Pursuing Love should not be a death sentence. However, under patriarchy, this is one of the aspects it guarantees. Love, care, and emotional well-being cannot exist within this oppressive system. Yet, it lies to men and boys, raising them to believe that violence, dominance, and control are the best ways to shape their identities to achieve those things in life. Tragically, women, nonbinary individuals, and children pay the cost, and ironically, men do as well. It's deeper than behavioral patterns, mental health, and any other deterrent used to dismiss this reality. It's time to expose patriarchy for its shapeshifting ways. Tune in to learn the known and hidden ways that patriarchy impacts our capabilities to love, connect, and liberate.
