#108 The Wave Is Real. But It Is Not the Whole Ocean.

Sometimes old pain rises within us and for a moment, it seems to become our entire reality. The feeling is real, but the story it tells us about the present moment does not necessarily have to be true. Perhaps we do not have to leave the present in order to feel the past. The wave may come, it may touch us deeply, it may be real. And while it moves through us, there is still the sky, the ground beneath our feet, the life surrounding us with its beautiful gifts.
